Rosemary Kanan
Rosemary is an experienced Partner specialising in dispute resolution and regulatory investigations, with a focus on financial services. Rosemary has navigated investigations and proceedings initiated by regulators including ASIC and the ACCC, while also managing corporate and commercial disputes across diverse sectors.
Her diverse career spans roles at top-tier law firms, ASIC, and a prominent Australian financial institution. These experiences have provided her with invaluable insights into her client’s industries and complex litigation across Australia.
Rosemary’s strength lies in her ability to blend technical expertise with a keen understanding of the business objectives of her clients. She adeptly tackles intricate legal issues while never losing sight of her client’s overarching business objectives.
An advocate for diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, Rosemary is a member of associations including the Women Lawyers Association of NSW, Diverse Women in Law, and the Women’s White Collar Defense Association.
In her downtime, Rosemary enjoys the whirlwind of parenthood, chasing after her energetic son. She also loves family travels and hosting gatherings for friends. Although she admits her culinary skills are a work in progress.
